About Fashion & Design

Made*In*Italy*On*Line wants to showcase the best in Italy, and become a reference point for students, journalists, historians, and lovers around the world of Italy and the best of Italy. Our first web, Galleria Virtuale Roma 2001, was presented December 31, 1994 in conjunction with the event First Night In Cyberspace.Fashion&Design debuted to press and fans in Milan at the Milano Collezioni fashion shows on March 1, 1995, and was the first web ever dedicated to fashion on the Internet! (We spent a week checking every available search engine at the time before making this claim) Sport&Auto was created in April 1995 in order to present the Italian International Tennis Championship with the sponsorship of Telecom Italia. Our next major web, Wine&Food debuted November 25, 1995. Bentley's Guide to Shopping for Hedonists and Bargain Lovers appeared in 1996. Other webs dedicated to Italy are currently under construction. Our latest "baby" is Ciao Italy which is a guide in English to Italian web sites, listed by categories. From the many letters we received over the years we felt there was a need for such a site.We could never have done this alone - many people and organizations contributed their talent and enthusiam as well as material to this project, we thank them all and apologize for any omissions.Apple ComputerAssociazione Liber LiberFacal ProductsTelecom ItaliaVerisys S.r.lBo Arnklit, Gianluca Attura, Giovanni Barbis, Linda Bordoni, Marco Calvo, Sabina Castelfranco, Paolo Cognetti, Giuseppe Comini, Antonio Concina, Giulia De Leva, Gianfranco De Vito, Valter Di Dio, Jerry Ferreri, Claudio Gerino, Barbara Lessona, Marco Marinacci, Sergio Montenero, Paolo Nuti, Jacopo Patrizi, Paola Pisa, Chiara Sottocorona, Marco Zela.We welcome all suggestions and comments on the Made*In*Italy*On*Line webs.
